How to play

Here's a video tutorial!

• Click on the character portraits to listen to those characters.
• The cards at the bottom are your available responses.
• Go to the library to replenish your social energy and learn new responses.
• Earn points by delivering your best practiced response that aligns with each active character. Do that two times. The third time, deliver a response that is non-aligned to lock the character. Lock all six characters to escape the house!
• Secret hotkeys!
  • L toggles the leaderboard
  • Q through P control the social game
  • TAB and SPACE work for browsing the books, even if you have one open already. Click a book a second time, or press SPACE a second time to "read" the book. You can quickly read all the books in one section of the library this way.
